Hilton Head Economy Homes Show Higher Prices

Economy Homes Cost 8% More in 2014 Than 2013
Bluffton has only 6 homes for sale less than $150,000 today.

Today, there are few people who doubt that most segments of the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton real estate market have recovered well from the recession.  In Bluffton, super-economy homes for less than $150,000 sold at prices 8% higher in 2014 vs. 2013 ($119,415 vs $110,510).  Economy homes in Bluffton also sold faster and fewer in 2014 than in 2013 with 17% fewer average days on the market (70 vs 84) and with 24% fewer homes sold in in 2014 than in 2013 (143 vs 188).

Demand remains high for homes in the super-economy range like 511 Gardners Lane in the video above, for sale with Go Gated Realty® for just $109,000!  Today in Bluffton, there are just 14 homes for sale for less than $150,000 and just 6 for less than $125,000.  The number of economy homes for sale in Bluffton continues to decrease as prices for economy homes trend higher.  The economy villa market on Hilton Head Island is similar.  The trend for higher economy home and villas prices will continue in 2015 and possibly gain strength as the economy improves and demand increases.*
