Long Cove is a private residential community located on the south end of  the island. Long Cove has a 24 hour guarded security gate. Long Cove has deepwater docks on  Broad Creek and is a short distance to the Intercoastal Waterway and the sounds of Hilton Head. Most of the homes have golf or lagoon views. Long Cove  has a private 18 hole championship golf course that was designed by Pete Dye. It is consistently ranked as one of the best in the state. The large clubhouse has pro-shop and dining room as well as men’s and women’s locker rooms. The tennis club has a pro shop and eight clay courts.  There is also a swimming club for your enjoyment.
